JB/T 9640-2014 was issued by MIIT on 6 May 2014 and has been in force since 1 October 2014.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 9640-1999.
2 Scope
Arc furnace transformers, the supply transformers that feed electric arc furnaces, are dealt with in JB/T 9640-2014, a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard.
