1 Foreword

JB/T 9472-2013 was issued by MIIT on 25 April 2013 and has been in force since 1 September 2013.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 9472-1999.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard giving the general specifications for the electrical connectors used in instruments. It sets the terms and definitions for these connectors, the requirements placed on them, the test methods, the inspection rules and the marking, packaging, transport and storage. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 2423.17-2008, GB/T 2828.1-2003, GB/T 2829-2002, GB/T 5095.2-1997, GB/T 5095.8-1997 and GB/T 13965-2010. The standard replaces JB/T 9472-1999. It was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and carries the Chinese classification L24 and the international classification 29.120.30.
