JB/T 9182-2014 is the English-translated version of 喷漆机器人通用技术条件.
JB/T 9182-2014 is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard that gives the general specifications for spray-painting robots. It states the technical requirements for these robots, the test methods and the inspection rules. It applies to painting robots of various kinds, robots used for other spraying work may refer to it as well, and the classification is J28 in the Chinese system and 25.240.40 in the international one. Among the documents it quotes are GB 11291.1-2011 and GB/T 12642-2013, GB 5226.1-2008, GB 3836.1-2001, GB 3836.2-2010 and GB 3836.5-2004, GB 6514-2008, GB/T 3766-2001 and JB/T 8896-1999. It replaces JB/T 9182-1999. Issued on 9 July 2014, it has applied since 1 November 2014.
