1 Foreword

JB/T 9103-2015 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 10 October 2015 and has been in force since 1 March 2016.

It is one of 3 parts of the JB/T 9103 series.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for reciprocating piston acetylene compressors. It fixes the model designation and the basic parameters, the technical requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules, and it covers the signs, packaging, transportation and storage of the machine. It applies to compressors with a rated discharge pressure of 2.5 MPa and a nominal volume flow of not more than 4.5 m3/min, and acetylene compressors below that rated discharge pressure may be handled by reference to it. Among the standards it quotes are parts of GB 150, GB/T 5330-2003 and GB 50031. It replaces JB/T 9103.1-1999 and JB/T 9103.2-1999.
