1 Foreword

JB/T 9047-2018 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 30 April 2018 and has been in force since 1 December 2018.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 9047-1999.

2 Scope

This standard is the Chinese machinery industry standard for the copper mould tubes fitted to curved billet continuous casting machines. It sets the types and sizes of these tubes and the technical requirements they meet, and it gives the test methods and inspection rules used to check them.
