JB/T 8940-2014 was issued by MIIT on 9 July 2014 and has been in force since 1 November 2014.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 8940-1999.
2 Scope
The type designation of fans is what JB/T 8940-2014 settles, as a recommended standard of the Chinese machinery industry.
