1 Foreword

JB/T 8808-2010 was issued by MIIT on 14 May 2010 and has been in force since 1 October 2010.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 8808-1998.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for DLM2 electromagnetic clutches. It specifies their types, basic parameters and main dimensions, the technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the marking, packaging and storage. It applies to the DLM2 dry multiple friction disc clutch with a rotating coil, of nominal torque from 630 Nm to 25000 Nm, for a working ambient temperature from -20 °C to +50 °C and relative humidity below 80 %. It replaces JB/T 8808-1998 and was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It carries Chinese classification J19 and international classification 21.120.20, and among the standards it quotes are GB/T 3478.1-2008 and GB/T 9239.1-2006.
