JB/T 871-2014 is the English-translated version of 模拟指示式转速表.

JB/T 871-2014 is the recommended machinery industry standard of China for analog indicating tachometers, the instruments that show rotational speed on a pointer scale. It sets out the product classification and the basic parameters, the technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions for marking, packaging and storage. Instruments of the centrifugal, electric and magnetic induction kinds are among those it covers. It quotes GB/T 13384 and GB/T 18271.3, with GB/T 191-2008 and the metrological verification regulation JJG 105-2000. It supersedes JB/T 871-1992. Issued on 6 May 2014, it has applied since 1 October 2014.
