1 Foreword

JB/T 8614-2015 was issued by MIIT on 30 April 2015 and has been in force since 1 October 2015.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 8614-1997.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for the electrostatic plate making machines counted among office machines. The standard classifies these machines and sets their technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions for signs, packaging, transport and storage. It applies to electrostatic plate makers working by the direct process on zinc oxide paper-based plates, and it adds that machines of other kinds may refer to it. Among the standards it quotes are GB 1002, GB/T 2828.1-2012, GB 4943.1-2011 and JB/T 9444-2015. JB/T 8614-2015 replaces JB/T 8614-1997. It carries J87 in the Chinese classification of standards and 37.100.10 in the international classification.
