1 Foreword

JB/T 8395-2011 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 20 December 2011 and has been in force since 1 April 2012.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 8395-1996.

2 Scope

This standard is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard that carries the specification for sintered tin bronze filter elements. It sets out terminology and definitions, technical conditions, test methods, inspection rules, and the marking, packaging, transport and storage of the elements. It applies to bulk filter elements and silencer elements manufactured by sintering spherical bronze powder. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 5121.1-2008, GB/T 5163-2006, GB/T 6886-2008, JB/T 6649-2010 and DIN 30911-6-1990. The standard replaces JB/T 8395-1996. It was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, under the Chinese classification H72 and the international classification 77.160.
