JB/T 7899-2013 was issued by MIIT on 31 December 2013 and has been in force since 1 July 2014.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 7899-1999.

2 Scope

JB/T 7899-2013 gathers the general requirements for slideways faced with filled polytetrafluoroethylene soft strip, as a recommended standard of the Chinese machinery industry. Requirements are given for the materials used, for the design of the slideway, for the bonding of the soft strip, for the machining and for the assembly.
