1 Foreword

JB/T 7659.3-2011 was issued by MIIT on 20 December 2011 and has been in force since 1 April 2012.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 7659.3-1995.

It is one of 7 parts of the JB/T 7659 series.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard covering the dry evaporator supplied as auxiliary equipment for fluorocarbon refrigerating plants. The part gives the types and basic parameters of the evaporator, then its requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and transport. Its field of application is the single-supply refrigerating unit whose dry evaporator runs on R123, R134a, R22, R407C, R404A or R410A as refrigerant together with water, and other hydrocarbon refrigerants may be handled by reference to it. It quotes GB/T 9439, GB/T 13306, JB/T 4711, JB/T 9058 and NB/T 47012. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued it under the Chinese classification J73.
