2 Scope

This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard that sets out the types and the parameters of general purpose cylindrical grinding machines. Part 1 is concerned with the classification of these grinders and with the parameter values that describe them. It is written for newly designed machines, and it covers both grinders with a moving worktable and grinders with a moving wheelhead. The standard is filed under Chinese classification J55 and ICS 25.080.50. It quotes GB/T 1443-2016, and it replaces JB/T 7418.1-2006.
