It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 7272.4-1994.

It is one of 7 parts of the JB/T 7272 series.

2 Scope

JB/T 7272.4-2014 covers positioning handle seats and is one of the recommended machinery industry standards of China for machine tool operating parts. It specifies the form and the dimensions of this type of seat, together with its marking and its technical requirements. The part applies to positioning handle seats, the version of the base that holds the handle at a set position. It draws on GB/T 308 and GB/T 2089 as well as on JB/T 7276 and JB/T 7277. The earlier JB/T 7272.4-1994 is replaced.
