1 Foreword

JB/T 7272.3-2014 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 9 July 2014 and has been in force since 1 November 2014.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 7272.3-1994.

It is one of 7 parts of the JB/T 7272 series.

2 Scope

Disc handle seats fall under JB/T 7272.3-2014, a recommended machinery industry standard of China classified J27 and listed in ICS 25.060.99 among machine tool accessories. The document fixes the type and dimensions of the disc-form seat, the marking placed on it and the technical requirements that apply to it. Its provisions are written for that form of seat, the plain and positioning versions being covered by companion parts of the JB/T 7272 series. JB/T 7276 and JB/T 7277 are the documents quoted, and they are used alongside this part. The standard replaces the 1994 edition, JB/T 7272.3-1994.
