JB/T 7270.8-2014 is the English-translated version of 球头手柄.

1 Foreword

JB/T 7270.8-2014 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 9 July 2014 and has been in force since 1 November 2014.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 7270.8-1994.

It is one of 23 parts of the JB/T 7270 series.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended machinery industry standard of China covering ball end handles, handles finished with a spherical head for the operator to hold. It lays down the form of the handle and the dimensions of its ball head, the marking it carries and the technical requirements it must satisfy. The part applies to ball end handles, while the crank and counterweight forms belong to other parts of the JB/T 7270 series. JB/T 7276 and JB/T 7277 are quoted and applied together with it. It supersedes JB/T 7270.8-1994.
