JB/T 7134.1-2008 is the English-translated version of 金属切削机床 铸铁件 第1部分：疏松级别评定.
JB/T 7134.1-2008 is the first part of a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on iron castings for metal cutting machine tools, and it covers the evaluation of porosity grades. It gives the methods for assessing porosity on the machined working surfaces of important cast iron parts and the range that may be allowed. It is written for guideway surfaces, working surfaces, rolling bearing spindle bores, bores for hydraulic components and other machined surfaces, while non-exposed machined surfaces such as inlaid steel rails, linear guides, surfaces bonded with soft plastic and fixed joint faces lie outside it. Classified J50 and 25.080.01, it replaces JB/T 7134.1-1993 and quotes JB/T 7134.2-2008.
