It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 7093-1993.
2 Scope
This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on flexible insulating sleeving, dealing with the self-extinguishing glass fibre sleeving coated with silicone resin that is used for electrical purposes. It gives the product classification, the requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules for this sleeving, together with the provisions on marking, packaging, transport and storage.
