JB/T 6551.2-2014 is the English-translated version of 木工平压两用刨床 第2部分：技术条件.
Part 2 of JB/T 6551, published as JB/T 6551.2-2014, is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard giving the technical specifications of woodworking surface planing and thicknessing machines.
It covers the general requirements for the combined two-table machine, its parameters and dimensions, its performance, its accessories and tooling, its safety and health provisions and its manufacturing quality, and then the idle running test, the load test and the accuracy inspection.

It replaces JB/T 6551-1993. Issued on 9 July 2014, it has applied since 1 November 2014.

JB/T 6551.2-2014 was issued by MIIT on 9 July 2014 and has been in force since 1 November 2014.
It is one of 3 parts of the JB/T 6551 series.
2 Scope
Part 2 of JB/T 6551, published as JB/T 6551.2-2014, is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard giving the technical specifications of woodworking surface planing and thicknessing machines. It covers the general requirements for the combined two-table machine, its parameters and dimensions, its performance, its accessories and tooling, its safety and health provisions and its manufacturing quality, and then the idle running test, the load test and the accuracy inspection. This makes it the acceptance document for the machine class within the woodworking machinery field.
