JB/T 6489-2014 is the English-translated version of 塑料捏合机.

JB/T 6489-2014 is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for the plastics kneader. It fixes the basic parameters of the machine, its technical requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules, together with marking, packaging, transport and storage. The machine it describes is used to knead plastics and other polymer materials, so the document sits between plastics processing equipment and general chemical machinery. Where the kneader carries a pressure vessel the text leans on the GB 150 series, and it also refers to GB/T 6388, GB/T 9969, GB/T 13306 and GB/T 13384. It replaces JB/T 6489-1999.
