JB/T 6478-2013 is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard that lays down the symbols for the terminology common to hydraulic turbines, storage pumps and pump-turbines. It fixes the notation used to designate them. It quotes GB/T 2900.45 and GB/T 20043. The standard supersedes the 1992 edition, JB/T 6478-1992. It is carried under Chinese classification K55 and international classification 27.140, and was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
