1 Foreword

JB/T 6452-2010 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 11 February 2010 and has been in force since 1 July 2010.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 6452-1992.

The JB/T prefix marks a recommended standard. It is not law in itself: it becomes binding when a contract names it, when a regulation or a mandatory standard refers to it, or when a producer declares conformity with it.

2 Scope Preview

This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard laying down the basic technical requirements for electro-hydraulic thrusters, also called electric fluid power thrusters. It covers the terminology and symbols, the classification, the basic parameters, the working and installation conditions, the technical requirements and the content of the tests. It applies to thrusters rated at AC 50 Hz, 660 V and below serving as the external drive for block brake components, and it is also applicable to thrusters for other mechanical actuators and mechanisms.
