Scope

GB/T 25718-2010 is the English-translated version of 电液锤型式与基本参数.

GB/T 25718-2010 specifies the types and basic parameters of electro-hydraulic forging hammers.

It applies to anvil-type electro-hydraulic hammers with gas-hydraulic or hydraulic drive, and defines five types: double-arm, bridge-type and single-arm open-die forging hammers, closed-die forging hammers, and numerically controlled closed-die forging hammers with precise blow energy control, each illustrated by a figure.

Terms such as hit number, continuous hit number and time, frequency hit number and maximum and minimum hit frequency are defined.

Five tables give the basic parameter series for each type: nominal blow energy from 35 kJ to 350 kJ for open-die hammers, 25 kJ to 400 kJ for closed-die hammers and 6.3 kJ to 160 kJ for numerically controlled hammers, with blow rates, maximum stroke, working space dimensions or die shut heights, guide spacing, working height and anvil block mass.
