JB/T 6405-2018 was issued by MIIT on 9 February 2018 and has been in force since 1 October 2018.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 6405-2006, JB/T 6405-1992.
2 Scope
The recommended machinery industry standard JB/T 6405-2018 deals with heavy stainless steel castings. For large castings of this kind it sets the ordering requirements, the manufacturing process, the technical requirements, the inspection rules and test methods, the quality certificates, and the signs and packaging.
