Scope
JB/T 6329-2014 is the English-translated version of 船用低压熔断器.
JB/T 6329-2014 is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for low-voltage fuses used on ships.
It describes the characteristics of the marine low-voltage fuse and of its components, namely the fuse base, the fuse carrier and the fuse link, and then sets the technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions for marking, packaging, transport and storage.
Because the equipment is shipboard, the environmental testing is heavy: the GB/T 2423 series covers heat, cold, vibration, shock, salt mist and damp, GB/T 7094-2002 the vibration of marine electrical equipment and GB 4208-2008 the enclosure protection.
The fuse requirements themselves rest on the GB 13539 series. It replaces JB/T 6329-2002. Issued on 6 May 2014, it has applied since 1 October 2014.

1 Foreword
JB/T 6329-2014 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 6 May 2014 and has been in force since 1 October 2014.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 6329-2002, JB/T 6329-1992.
2 Scope
This standard is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for low-voltage fuses used on ships. It describes the characteristics of the marine low-voltage fuse and of its components, namely the fuse base, the fuse carrier and the fuse link, and then sets the technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions for marking, packaging, transport and storage.
