JB/T 5963-2014 is the English-translated version of 液压传动 二通、三通和四通螺纹插装阀 插装孔.
JB/T 5963-2014 is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard that fixes the cavities for two-, three- and four-port screw-in cartridge valves in hydraulic fluid power systems.
It lays down the size of the insertion hole and the valve-related data needed to match a cartridge valve to its cavity. The standard is written for cartridge valves used on industrial equipment and on mobile machinery.
It is a modified adoption of ISO 7789:2007 and quotes GB/T 131, GB/T 786.1, GB/T 1182, GB/T 1184-1996, GB/T 1804-2000, GB/T 2878.1, GB/T 14043-2005, GB/T 17446 and ISO 16874.
It supersedes JB/T 5963-2004. Issued on 9 July 2014, it has applied since 1 November 2014.

1 Foreword
JB/T 5963-2014 was issued by MIIT on 9 July 2014 and has been in force since 1 November 2014.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 5963-2004, JB/T 5963-1991.
2 Scope
This standard is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard that fixes the cavities for two-, three- and four-port screw-in cartridge valves in hydraulic fluid power systems. It lays down the size of the insertion hole and the valve-related data needed to match a cartridge valve to its cavity. The standard is written for cartridge valves used on industrial equipment and on mobile machinery. It is a modified adoption of ISO 7789:2007 and quotes GB/T 131, GB/T 786.1, GB/T 1182, GB/T 1184-1996, GB/T 1804-2000, GB/T 2878.1, GB/T 14043-2005, GB/T 17446 and ISO 16874. It supersedes JB/T 5963-2004.
