Scope
GB/T 7934-2017 is the English-translated version of 液压二通盖板式插装阀 技术条件.
GB/T 7934-2017 specifies the technical conditions of hydraulic two-port slip-in cartridge valves, taking in technical requirements, safety requirements, performance requirements, inspection rules and marking and packaging requirements.
Clause 1 applies the standard to valves of this kind that work with hydraulic oil, or with other liquids of performance equivalent to mineral oil, as the working medium, and prints no exclusion.
The structure continues with clause 4 on technical requirements, clause 5 on safety requirements, clause 6 on performance requirements, clause 7 on inspection rules, clause 8 on marking, packaging, transportation and storage, and clause 9 on marking instructions, closing with a normative Appendix A of typical symbols and a list of references.
Clause 3 builds on the definitions of GB/T 17446 and defines the valve itself as a two-way hydraulic valve, made up of a slip-in component, a control cover, pilot components, a cartridge valve block and other parts, in which the slip-in component is inserted into the valve bore to act on flow direction, pressure and flow; it then defines the slip-in component, consisting of a valve sleeve, a valve plug, a spring and seals, and the control cover that receives it, which a note says is usually machined with control ports, control channels, pin holes, process holes and the mounting surface or mounting holes for the pilot components.

Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard replaces GB/T 7934-1987 "two-way cartridge-mounted hydraulic valve technical conditions," compared with GB/T 7934-1987, the main Technical changes are as follows.
--- Redefinition of "hydraulic two-way cover-type cartridge valve" terms;
--- Added the necessary normative references;
--- Increased technical requirements (see Chapter 4);
--- Increased safety requirements (see Chapter 5);
--- Increased performance requirements (see Chapter 6);

--- Added annotation (see Chapter 9).
1 Scope
This standard specifies the hydraulic two-way cover plate cartridge valve technical conditions, including technical requirements, safety requirements, performance requirements, inspection rules, Logo packaging requirements and so on.
This standard applies to the hydraulic oil or mineral oil equivalent performance of other liquids as the working medium hydraulic two-way cover plate cartridge valve.

3 Terms and definitions
GB/T 17446 defined and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Hydraulic two-way plug-in cartridge valve
By the insertion of components, control cover, pilot components, cartridge valve block and other components, the use of slide-in components inserted into the installation of the plug Install valve spool on the valve hole for the flow direction, pressure and flow of two-way hydraulic valve.
3.2 Insert the component
Components consisting of a valve sleeve, a valve plug, a spring, a seal and the like, which are inserted by means of insertion.
3.3 Control cover
Cover for inserting the component.
Note: Usually, the control cover is machined with control ports, control channels, pin holes, process holes, and mounting surfaces or mounting holes for pilot components.
