1 Foreword

JB/T 5831-2017 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 7 November 2017 and has been in force since 1 April 2018.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 5831-1991.

2 Scope

This standard is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for rubber moulds. Its subject is the moulds used for rubber products other than tyres, and for them it gives the requirements, the inspection methods and the acceptance provisions, together with marking, packaging, transport and storage.120.30 in the international one. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 150.4-2011, GB/T 191, GB/T 230.1, GB/T 825, GB/T 1184-1996 and GB/T 4340.1-2009. It replaces JB/T 5831-1991.
