1 Foreword
JB/T 5791-2014 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 6 May 2014 and has been in force since 1 October 2014.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 5791-2002.
2 Scope
The recommended machinery industry standard JB/T 5791-2014 covers rotary switches for shipboard use, written around the HZ910 series of marine combination switches. It sets out the models and classification of the switches and their marking, the normal service and installation conditions, the requirements, the test methods and inspection rules, and finally packaging, transport and storage.
