JB/T 5686-2018 was issued by MIIT on 30 April 2018 and has been in force since 1 December 2018.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 5686-1991.
2 Scope
JB/T 5686-2018 covers the complete sets of equipment used for medium and small scale potato starch processing, as a recommended standard of the Chinese machinery industry. It describes the processing technology and the way the models are designated, then sets the safety requirements, the technical requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules, and closes with marking, packaging, transport and storage. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 4208-2017, GB 5009.4, GB 5749, GB 10396, GB 16798, GB/T 20378, GB/T 22427.4, GB/T 25237 and GBZ/T 192. It takes the place of JB/T 5686-1991 and JB/T 5687-1991.
