JB/T 5451-2008 is the English-translated version of 微动开关 通用技术条件.
JB/T 5451-2008 is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard carrying the general technical requirements for microswitches used in electrical and electronic equipment, those needed for connecting power included. Along with the requirements it gives the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions for packaging, transport and storage. It applies to microswitches whose maximum rated voltage does not exceed 500 V and whose maximum rated current does not exceed 25 A, direct current or alternating current measured as rms. The standard replaces JB/T 5451-1991. Its Chinese classification is L22 and its international classification 29.120.40.
