JB/T 5404-2008 is the English-translated version of 仪表用交流风机 技术条件.
JB/T 5404-2008 is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard carrying the general technical requirements for AC fans for instruments. Besides those requirements it gives the test methods, the inspection rules and the rules for marking, packaging, transport and storage of the fan. It applies to the fans used as cooling devices in automatic control equipment, in electronic equipment and in other instruments. The edition replaces JB/T 5404-1991.
