1 Foreword

JB/T 5120-2010 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 11 February 2010 and has been in force since 1 July 2010.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 5120-2000.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on the full hydraulic steering unit of the cycloidal rotary valve open-centre non-reaction type. For that steering unit the text gives the terms and definitions, the types, the basic parameters and dimensions, the technical requirements, the test equipment and test conditions, the test items and test methods, the processing of data, the inspection rules, and the marking, packaging, transport and storage. It applies only to units whose working medium is hydraulic oil or an equivalent mineral oil. The Chinese classification is J20 and the international classification 23.100.50. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 786.1, GB/T 7935-2005 and JB/T 7858. It supersedes JB/T 5120-2000.
