1 Foreword

JB/T 4284.1-2017 was issued by MIIT on 9 January 2017 and has been in force since 1 October 2017.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 4284.1-1999.

It is one of 3 parts of the JB/T 4284 series.

2 Scope

This standard is the first part of the Chinese machinery industry standard for bevel gear rolling testers, and it covers accuracy testing. It sets the requirements for geometric accuracy and for the positioning accuracy and repeatability of the numerically controlled axes, together with the methods used to inspect them. It applies to bevel gear rolling testers and to numerically controlled ones taking workpieces from 125 mm to 1600 mm in diameter. It quotes GB/T 8170, GB/T 17421.1 and GB/T 17421.2. It replaces JB/T 4284.1-1999. Its classifications are CCS J56 and ICS 25.040.20.
