JB/T 4245-2008 is the English-translated version of 矿浆准备器.

Pulp conditioners are the subject of JB/T 4245-2008, a recommended standard of the Chinese machinery industry. For slurry preparation equipment the text fixes the product classification, the technical requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules, together with the marking, packaging, transport and storage. It applies to the slurry preparation unit, a machine used mainly in coal flotation to mix the reagent into the pulp before flotation; it may also be used to mix liquid reagents into other low-concentration slurries. The standard is classified D96 in the Chinese scheme and 73.120 in the international one. GB/T 3768, GB 9969.1 and JB/T 5000.3 are among the standards it quotes, and it replaces JB/T 4245-1999.
