JB/T 4210.5-2014 was issued by MIIT on 14 July 2014 and has been in force since 1 November 2014.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 4210.5-1996.
It is one of 35 parts of the JB/T 4210 series.
2 Scope
The recommended machinery industry standard JB/T 4210.5-2014 deals with the dies that perform ball upsetting in cold heading tooling for hexagon nuts. Its content covers the structural types and sizes of the die, the material and hardness specified for it, and how the finished die is to be marked. Like the other parts of the series it addresses hexagon nut cold heading dies mounted on automatic nut cold heading machines. Classified J46 in China and 25.120.30 internationally, it is applied alongside GB/T 6170-2000, GB/T 6171-2000, GB/T 6175-2000, GB/T 6176-2000 and JB/T 4213. It supersedes JB/T 4210.6-1996.
