JB/T 4210.9-2014 was issued by MIIT on 9 July 2014 and has been in force since 1 November 2014.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 4210.9-1996.
It is one of 35 parts of the JB/T 4210 series.
2 Scope
JB/T 4210.9-2014 closes the recommended Chinese machinery industry series on cold heading dies for hexagon nuts with the die used for hexagon upsetting. For that die it lays down the structural type and the dimensions, the material and the hardness, and the marking requirements. The tooling it addresses is the hexagon nut cold heading die of automatic nut forming machines. The part carries the Chinese classification J46 and the international classification 25.120.30. It quotes the nut standards GB/T 6170-2000, GB/T 6171-2000, GB/T 6175-2000 and GB/T 6176-2000 and with JB/T 4213-2014.
