JB/T 4170-2011 is the Chinese machinery industry standard on the testing of the accuracy of quill feed power units for modular machine tools. It specifies the geometric accuracy requirements and the test methods for the quill feed power units of modular machine tools, and applies to quill feed power units used in modular machine tools and automatic transfer lines. The test methods refer to GB/T 17421.1-1998, the general rules for machine tool testing (geometric accuracy of machines operating under no-load or finishing conditions). It replaces JB/T 4170-1999. Issued on 18 May 2011 by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT Announcement 2011 No. 13), it has been in force since 1 August 2011. Classification: ICS 25.080.99, CCS J 58.
