1 Foreword

JB/T 3870.1-2019 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 2 May 2019.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 3870.1-1999.

It is one of 3 parts of the JB/T 3870 series.

2 Scope

This standard is the accuracy part of the Chinese machinery industry standard on calipers grinding machines. It fixes the requirements for geometric accuracy and working accuracy, the methods by which those are checked, and the tolerances that go with them. The part is written for caliper grinders of ordinary precision grade and of precision grade whose maximum ground caliper size runs from 250 mm to 800 mm. It is a recommended standard in Chinese class J55, and it quotes GB/T 17421.1-1998. It replaces JB/T 3870.1-1999.
