JB/T 3860.1-2011 is the English-translated version of 机床 楔式动力卡盘 第1部分：分类和技术条件.

JB/T 3860.1-2011 was issued by MIIT on 18 May 2011 and has been in force since 1 August 2011.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 3860.1-1998.
It is one of 3 parts of the JB/T 3860 series.
2 Scope
This standard is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard that holds the classification and technical requirements for wedge-type power operated chucks used on machine tools. It gives the types and parameters of the chuck, the geometric accuracy test, the technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the marking and packaging. Wedge type power chucks for machine tools are its field of application, and power chucks of other kinds may be handled by reference to it. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 5900.1-2008, GB/T 15760-2004, GB/T 17421.1-1998, JB/T 3860.2-2011 and ISO 3442-2-2005. J52 is its Chinese classification and 25.060.20 the international one.
