1 Foreword

JB/T 2617.3-2017 was issued by MIIT on 9 January 2017 and has been in force since 1 July 2017.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 2617.3-2007, JB/T 2617.3-1999.

It is one of 6 parts of the JB/T 2617 series.

2 Scope

This standard is Part 3 of the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on crankshaft grinding machines, and it states the requirements for their manufacture and acceptance. It is written for general-purpose crankshaft grinders, and among the machines it names are ordinary-accuracy table-travelling crankshaft grinders and numerically controlled crankshaft grinders with a maximum workpiece rotation diameter from 200 mm to 1000 mm and a maximum workpiece length from 200 mm to 4000 mm. A second and larger group, the crankshaft grinders and numerically controlled crankshaft grinders on which the grinding wheel travels, is covered as well. It replaces JB/T 2617.3-2007. Among the standards it quotes are GB 5226.1-2008, GB/T 9061-2006, GB 15760-2004, GB/T 16769-2008, GB/T 23572-2009, JB/T 2617.2-2017 and JB 4029-2000.
