1 Foreword

JB/T 2403.3-2012 was issued by MIIT on 24 May 2012 and has been in force since 1 November 2012.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 2403.3-1996.

It is one of 5 parts of the JB/T 2403 series.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard, the third part of the forging roll machine series, and it carries the specifications. It states the technical requirements for the machine, the test methods, the inspection rules, the packaging, labelling and transport provisions, and the technical documents that go with each machine. The part applies to roll forging machines used for hot roll forging.
