JB/T 1993-2008 is the English-translated version of 永磁磁力滚筒.
JB/T 1993-2008 is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for permanent magnetic drums. It lays down the product classification, the technical requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules, together with the provisions on marking, labelling, operating instructions, packaging, transport and storage. The drum it covers is used mainly for the pre-selection of magnetite ore and can also be used to remove iron from materials. It replaces JB/T 1993-1999. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 191, GB/T 3217, GB/T 6388, GB 9969.1, JB/T 1604 and HG/T 3836. Chinese classification D96 and ICS 73.120 are given.
