JB/T 15422.3-2026 is Part 3 of the series on industrial gateways. It gives the technical specification for evaluating industrial gateways intended for computer numerical control (CNC) systems. Such a gateway connects CNC machine tools to networks and information systems so that data can be exchanged, and this part addresses how these gateways are evaluated.

Gateway makers, evaluation and test laboratories, CNC machine tool builders, system integrators and buyers use it. It is a voluntary industry standard, as the /T in its code indicates. It was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on 28 April 2026 and takes effect on 2 November 2026. It is a new standard.
