1 Foreword

2 Scope

This standard is the part of a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometers that deals with elemental analyzers. It sets the terms and definitions, the measuring ranges, the requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules, and it also covers marking, packaging, transport and storage. The instruments in question use an X-ray tube as the excitation source and analyse elements both qualitatively and quantitatively; instruments with other excitation sources may follow it by reference. It quotes GB/T 2829-2002, GB/T 4960.6-2008, GB/T 11685-2003 and JB/T 12962.1-2016. Its classification codes are N53 and ICS 71.040.10.
