1 Foreword

JB/T 12846-2016 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 5 April 2016 and has been in force since 1 September 2016.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on the lighting and light-signalling devices of walking tractors. It sets terms and definitions, the configuration and installation of the devices, the technical requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules, and then marking, packaging, transport and storage. It applies to the lighting and light-signalling devices of walking tractors and of walking tractor transport units, trailers included.
