1 Foreword

JB/T 12794.1-2016 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 5 April 2016 and has been in force since 1 September 2016.

It is one of 2 parts of the JB/T 12794 series.

2 Scope

This standard is the first part of a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on stabilizer bars, and it deals with the stabilizer bar of commercial vehicles. It gives the terms and symbols, the technical requirements, the inspection and test methods, the inspection rules, and the provisions on marking, packaging, transport and storage. The bars it covers are the transverse stabilizer bars fitted to the chassis suspension of commercial vehicles, called stabilizing rods throughout the text. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 224, GB/T 231.1, GB/T 3077, GB/T 3639 and QC/T 484-1999. It carries the Chinese classification J26 and ICS 21.160, and was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
