JB/T 12710-2016 is the English-translated version of 印刷机械单张纸聚氨酯（PUR）胶覆膜机.

JB/T 12710-2016 is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard within printing machinery, written for sheet-fed laminating machines that work with polyurethane (PUR) adhesive.

It sets out terms and definitions, the composition of the machine, its basic parameters and requirements, the test methods and inspection rules, and the marking, packaging, transport and storage provisions.

It applies to machines that bond plastic film from a reel onto single sheets, whether unprinted paper or paper-based printed sheets, using PUR adhesive. Classified J87 and 37.100.10, it quotes GB 5226.1-2008, GB/T 4879, GB 23821 and parts of GB/T 27934 and GB/T 28387. Issued on 15 January 2016, it has applied since 1 June 2016.
