1 Foreword

JB/T 12120-2015 was issued by MIIT on 30 April 2015 and has been in force since 1 October 2015.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for the dry air-cooling bottom ash system, the arrangement that removes slag from a boiler and cools it with air. It gives the terms and definitions, the types and basic parameters, the technical requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules, and then marking, packaging, transport and storage. It applies to high-temperature air-cooled dry slag systems that convey the bottom ash of pulverized coal boilers, over a conveying range that runs from the boiler slag discharge to the outlet equipment of the slag silo. Among the standards it quotes are GB 150.1, GB/T 3766, GB/T 9286-1998, GB/T 26480, DL/T 5142, JB/T 8470-2010 and NB/T 47003.2.
