2 Scope

JB/T 9755.2-2014 is the part of the recommended Chinese machinery industry series on internal combustion engine air cleaner assemblies that deals with dry air filter elements. It gives the technical requirements for the dry filter elements of engine air cleaners, the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions for marking, packaging, transportation and storage. The part applies to elements for internal combustion engine air cleaners with a nominal volume flow of up to 4000 m3/h. It is used together with JB/T 9755.5, and it quotes GB/T 1184-1996, GB/T 1804-2000, GB/T 1958, GB/T 2828.1 and JB/T 11788.1. It falls under classification J93 and ICS 27.020. It takes the place of JB/T 9756-2004. Issued on 6 May 2014, it has applied since 1 October 2014.
